 Home for Orphan Girls

"For those who give in charity, men and women, and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan, it shall be increased manifold (to their credit), and they shall have (besides) a rich reward." (Al-Quran, 57:18)

Mohammad Mazhar Rasul (Founding Chairman) words about his dream project:

A decade ago, when I bought a piece of land in Lahore, Pakistan, I had a dream and vision to build a HOME for orphan girls there after I retired. Alhamdullilah, my dream has become reality after we started building the first phase of the orphanage in 2013. My wife, Kuralay, and I moved to Lahore to personally oversee and supervise the home for orphan girls. We adopted 5 girls from Kashmir. These girls, who had lost so much, began to hope again. They are now part of our family. Insha Allah, it is my wish to raise them in a safe Islamic environment with emphasis on character building, honesty, modesty, and trustworthiness. We hope that these girls will then become models to other girls in the same situation.

I hope to find likeminded people who also care for the welfare of these girls to help make this home as a perpetual charity (Sadaqa Jaria) for future generations as we expand the home to house more girls and provide a school and training center.

The before and after pictures of construction of first unit of Home are shown below: (2015)

Alhumdulilah by the Grace of Allah, the second unit of Home is also completed as shown below:

We are grateful for the people who helped us making it happen by their kind donations.

Currently we are focused in updating the interior environment for inspiring our children and their creativity through arts, colors and creative activities with the help of Architects as volunteers. Will share a blog soon with complete look as soon as we are done, but for now just sharing some glimpse of behind the scenes.

We are keen at providing the best environment to our children, therefore keep donating so we can keep it up as well. Thank you.
