Good Touch, Bad Touch Awareness Campaign

We welcome and encourage organizations and volunteers willing to support our mission of raising our girls with mercy and education and thus we collaborate whenever such opportunities arise. This "Good Touch, Bad Touch" campaign was one such example.

Mashal-e-Haq Foundation, a SECP & PCC registered non-profit organization dedicated to empowering communities and safeguarding children, conducted an awareness campaign titled “Good Touch Bad Touch” for eradication of child abuse. This initiative aimed to educate children about personal boundaries, recognising inappropriate behavior, and ensuring their safety in a child-friendly and engaging manner.  

The session included:

1) Age-appropriate storytelling and activities to explain the concept of Good and Bad touch.  

2) Enlightening children with Legal perspective by making them believe that bad touch is a crime and they don’t need to be scared if they have undergone a bad touch. 

3) Also, acquainting them with the manipulation tactics that abusers use on their victims so they understand that there is no secret between a victim and abuser. 

4) Role-playing exercises to help children identify and respond to unsafe situations.  

5) Distribution of educational materials for continued learning.

Their team comprised of trained volunteers who were experienced in working with children and creating a safe, supportive environment. The session lasted for approximately 1.5 hours, and they ensured us that it will be conducted with sensitivity and care.

We believed this initiative of Mashal-e-Haq Foundation had aligned with our mission to provide a secure and nurturing environment for the children under our care. By equipping them with essential knowledge, we can collectively contribute to their safety and well-being. InshaAllah.

We are grateful to be working with such amazing youth doing amazing work and supporting us in our mission with sincere intentions and dedication. Also, we were privileged to be the first institute where they begun their campaign from. Alhumdulilah.
