Visit of Alif Laila Book Bus at HOME

We hosted a storytelling day at HOME in collaboration with Alif Laila Book Bus Society to encourage love for book reading, storytelling and imagination in children and it went way too well and memorable. Alhumdulilah. We had invited our neighbors as well as children of our friends and supporters, together all children fully enjoyed the day and we wish to keep organizing and hosting such events in the future with the help of our donors, InshaAllah.

The Alif Laila storytelling bus at Home Charity Trust was a truly heartwarming experience. The moment the bus arrived, the children were filled with excitement and curiosity. Sitting inside the bus for storytelling and reading books made them feel like they were on a real adventure, not just attending an activity. Their faces lit up as they listened and imagined together in a space that felt special and magical. Walking through the human scale story panels/boards made the stories come alive, and the children eagerly followed each part. The puppet show deeply engaged them, delivering good moral lessons in a joyful and playful way. With snacks and good food shared at the end, the children felt cared for, happy, and valued. It was an experience that gave them joy, confidence, and beautiful memories to hold on to. (Ms. Muzna Khalid)

The storytelling event was truly enjoyable and engaging. I enjoyed it so much because it reminded me of my childhood and the happiness I felt during that time. Every moment of story-time felt lively and meaningful, making it easy to connect emotionally. It was supported by an amazing team and excellent coordination, which made the entire experience smooth and well-organized. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I really appreciated the effort and dedication behind it. (Ms. Arfa)
