Ramadan 2026

Ramadan 2026 was another year of witnessing Allah's Rehmatein and Barkatein in the acts of human beings all around us. SubhanAllah.
Lot of people reached out for donations and to shower our girls with gifts that will make them happy and loved. Alhumdulilah. The gifts that all parents try to provide for their children. Though some parents are unable to do so because of financial crisis but they still try and nonetheless their presence fills the gap for their children. But orphans we see are usually deprived of this whole experience.
So we are trying to bridge the gap between the two realities of the society and indeed this is how Allah had created the system of the world:
Our zakat and sadqat are meant to make life easier of those less privileged than us. So the money keeps rotating in the society and there is no unfair or injustice felt in any society.
Our Ramadan goals were to help heal the traumas of these little angels as many girls had joined us recently. So,
We added a fresher look in our house through colors and soft fabric - to lower the impact of harshness they have faced in the society.
We allowed junk/fast food too (alongwith healthy food ofcourse) as we all crave junk and fast food.
We had healthy educational and informative sessions at HOME that will help us achieve our long-term goal of girls empowerment. InshaAllah.
We ensured play activities alongwith Religious obligations because that's what Sunnah is.
Also, we took courage to take children out to meet other children like them and expression compassion towards others plus be grateful to Allah SWT.
